| 47 Sara Lillywhite IBM Technology Leader NHS, IBM Technology, UKI Sara is the Technology lead for the NHS account in IBM and has worked in IBM across several of the NHS’ strategic clients, cross-section of industries with Enterprise customers, Business Partners, ISVs, Resellers and Start-ups for over 25 years. Sara has worked with the NHS for the past three years building her relationships with both the Senior leadership teams and at trust and ICS level. Her role at IBM has been varied and she has managed teams and ecosystem but ultimately is focused on delivering value to clients enabling them to enable technology and deliver digital transformation at scale. Sara has a collaborative approach working with our business partner community and clients to encourage collaboration in the NHS ecosystem. Sara is passionate about innovation and hosts several events with Clients, partners at IBM and works with organisations such as the Clinical Entrepreneur Programme both as a mentor and host to drive innovation within the NHS. Sara works with Tech UK and has previously sat on the Council and as a governor of Royal Surrey Hospital. Daniel Glazer Wilson Sonsini Daniel Glazer leads the US Expansion group and the London office at Silicon Valley-headquartered Wilson Sonsini, which has represented more tech companies on their venture financings, M&A transactions, and IPOs than any other law firm globally. Wilson Sonsini’s London-based team of US and UK tech lawyers supports UK/EU startups through their US life cycle – US launch and scaling, US fundraising, US partnerships, and US M&A/IPO exit - and facilitates access to the firm’s global network of capital providers, corporates, and advisors. The NHS CEP is without doubt the key to bridging the gap between clinical practice and clinical entrepreneurship. The invaluable skills gained during the programme arm the individual to navigate this journey with success. Importantly, the programme puts patient care and patient benefit at the heart of everything and encourages this ethos in all its participants. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
