We’re now building Bookable, with a mission to make every appointment in the NHS “bookable”. Lydia is a GP with 18 years’ experience in the NHS; after qualifying as a GP she spent time working with patients who are homeless. Her career has been at the intersection of medicine and technology; she was the second employee and Clinical Lead at Accurx, helping grow it from 0 to 1,000 practices. She then co-founded a primary care automation company through Entrepreneur First before joining Healthtech-1 as founding clinician. He is a clinician, scientist, and entrepreneur with a background in neurology and computational genetics. He read neuroscience and preclinical medicine at the University of Cambridge, before completing clinical training at the University of Oxford. He was awarded a Kennedy Scholarship to study entrepreneurship at Harvard University, where he also won the MIT $100K Accelerate Entrepreneurship Competition. He later completed a DPhil in computational genetics and neuroscience at Oxford, developing methods to link genetic variation to neurological disease mechanisms. Alongside his academic and entrepreneurial work, he sees patients as a neurology registrar in London.
