Some of our health estate and IT infrastructure is not fit for purpose. Technology will be key to enable us to deliver care in a way that’s effective. Estate and IT Workforce Funding Demand Significant financial pressures continue across the health and care system. We need to think of innovative ways to create new roles and career pathways. Staff need to feel supported, empowered and valued. Population growth and demand for new treatments and therapies area projected to outstrip growth in the budget. There are a number of challenges to the quality and performance of our health and care services, set against the context of significant financial challenges across the public sector.
