17 ‘Prevention’ is a key cornerstone of our approach across health and social care. Prevention is better than cure, so it’s important to focus on doing things well early on. Health is affected by our make up, lifestyle and environment. The health map produced by World Health Organisation and University of Bristol helps us to understand what effects our health.
