Children’s and Young People’s Mental Health • An estimated 2,800 children aged 5-16 have mental health disorders in Wandsworth; half of lifetime mental disorder has arisen by the age of 14 and 75% by the mid-20s. Therefore, services to prevent mental disorder have greatest impact in pre-teenage years.
