Overall the team ended up playing 19 matches in total, winning eight of those 19 matches. In the League, the team finished fourth, however their two wins contributed to the School winning the overall ENISL title. Will Howard finished as top run scorer, with an impressive 624 runs, whilst Tom Arnold ended the season as leading wicket taker with 16 wickets. The side was extremely young, with the majority coming being 15 or 16 years old. To finish the season off the 1st XI travelled to Oundle School for the annual Cricket festival; it was a fantastic few days with the students coming away better players from the competition. With another year’s experience under their belts, we hope that the side can become a bit more consistent with their performances. Cricket 1st XI The 2nd XI had a mixed set of results, winning four out of seven matches. In the League, the team won three out of five matches and ended up a commendable third.
