Brentwoodian 2022

As a team, they can look back at the 2022 cricket season with pride as they managed an unbeaten Essex schools league campaign, winning a trophy and helping the School win the overall league. They had a very impressive record winning a staggering 7 out of 8 games, in which we had some amazing individual performances with Daniel Green and Nathan Killilea both scoring their maiden centuries. Joe Radford played a couple of key innings and took 11 wickets to help the team with both bat and ball. In the league decider, while being 40-5, James Radden and Ollie Noble steadied the ship while Archie Stronach finished off the job.. Our strong batting performances were always backed up by our bowlers with Ben Rowbury and Torin De Silva looking threatening with the new ball. Our key spinner, Abhinay James, took some very important wickets throughout the season as did Dillon Collar when he always managed to take a wicket off his worst ball of the over. U15A The U15B team had an extremely successful season, with just one defeat out of eight matches (the very first match of the year) against a strong Aldenham side. Once the first match was out of the way, the Boys went unbeaten for the rest of year winning seven in a row. This included a win against New Hall A team, showing the strength of the team. The highlight was winning the U15B team league, winning all five matches and subsequently being crowned League champions for 2022. Louis Turner and Jai Kainth ended up as top wicket takers, taking 9 wickets apiece, whilst Teddy Desmond scored 172 runs at an average of 86. Overall it was an extremely successful season and we look forward to seeing how the Boys transition into Senior Cricket next year. U15B 129
