Sweeney Todd THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET When I first found out I got the role of Mrs Lovett, I was over the moon. Even though I have done many shows in the past, this was the first one where I had the main role and, even though I was nervous, I was very excited. Every rehearsal was very productive and I managed to make friends who I will never forget. Even though we worked hard to put on the show, I enjoyed every moment of it. The week before was quite stressful but show week was all fun. We each had two shows out of four but still performed in each one no matter what, which I thought was nice because it meant we could relax a bit but also perform different roles and interact with new people.
