Brentwoodian 2022

From the beginning of the season the 3rd VII, has grown significantly as a team. We started off as a team who had never played with each other before and bonded throughout the season. From start to finish, we developed many skills in netball, which can be used in later years. We started off the season by winning, and then went through some ups and downs, however from the matches we lost we became closer as a teammaking these improvements for our upcoming matches. Since the beginning, we have developed many teamwork skills, and have improved each as individuals. We would like to thank Miss Collins and Mrs Veares, for coaching, and supporting us to become better netball players throughout the season, and we look forward to next season. By Sophia Stock 3RD VII This year we have had huge success with our team. From winning the Essex cup to qualifying for Nationals to even losing by only one goal to the eventual National champions, we have shown growth both as a team and as individual players. We have been a very determined team and we have pushed through long, hard tournaments to be crowned Essex and Regional champions. This year our team has shown great passion and love for the sport. Even though we didn’t quite get through to the Finals of the Nationals, we showed great strength and determination. Being tenacious and level headed we continued to power through and play some incredible netball, even beating the team that came 2nd and only losing by one goal to the national champions. Every player is a crucial part of our success. From the defending to mid court to shooters, the team couldn’t have made it through without the dedication each team member has put in this season. Obviously we could not get to where we are now without the guidance and support of Mrs Juniper and Mrs Simpson-Crick who have been amazing coaches since the start of our netball journey.
