Our Senior teams competed in a range of county and national competitions this year. The Senior Boys’ side competed for the first time at Eton College in the Independent Schools Championships. They lost to a strong team from Tonbridge School in the Main Draw of the Youll Cup, before picking up an excellent win against The Leys in the Youll Plate. In the quarter-finals of the Plate, the team narrowly lost against Radley College who went on to reach the final. Our Senior Girls progressed through to the quarter-finals of the Aberdare Cup with a comfortable win against Chelmsford County High School. Our young side lost to an experienced New Hall team in the quarter-finals, but the girls picked up some great wins, with Edie in Year 9 defeating New Hall’s number one seed from Year 13.
