• Going into Sections where students engaged with each other and had made a genuine effort to get to know each other. • The Year 9 Netball team, Year 7 Football and Rugby teams, and the Year 7 Boys’ Track and Field team absolutely dominating their respective competitions. • Southies who stepped up at the last minute, unexpectedly in some cases, to take part in events that they’d never done before. • Seeing how many students grew in confidence over the course of the year, and how many more wanted to be involved in House events than at the start. This above list is by no means exhaustive as there were so many wonderful contributions to the House over the year - it really is impossible to list them all. I am incredibly grateful to and proud of each and every Southie who took part in the various events over the course of the year. 176
